My father was “stylistic” at times but he did have a fondness for the occasional ugly sweater. Of all the sweaters he normally wore, the red mallard always was a favorite of his. I thought: “how could I incorporate this but make it better?” That’s how the collection was born - creating something new while embracing and respecting the heritage of its predecessor.
